Working Experience
Cherifa started her career 20 years ago as a Treasury Manager for four years at Thomson then she became Business Controller at THALES a French blue-chip company from September 2003 to April 2007.
In 2007, she joined VIRBAC as Treasury and Finance Director and later she has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer.
As Chief Financial Officer she set up more than €700 million financing operation for VIRBAC in the private placement market to restructure the debt of the company and also to deal with the acquisition of an American company.
She is skilled in Strategy, fundraising as well as driving financial operations.
Education
Cherifa holds an International Executive MBA with concentration in Finance, Strategy and Leadership from HEC Paris. She also holds a Master of Science in Advanced Accounting and Finance from the Enterprise Management Institute of Nice (IAE Nice).
